On the presence of Mittenothamnium reduncum (Hypnaceae) in Argentina. Mittenothamnium reduncum is recorded for the first time for the bryological flora of Argentina. A brief description, illustration, and discussion of the species are provided. Morphological differences between this taxon and M. reptans,the most frequent species in the area, are presented.
