In this paper we analyze the work of visual artist from the city of Rosario (Argentina) Graciela Sacco, in particular of the image "The fire and vespers." Considering Foucault's analysis of Manet's painting, we focus on the materiality of the work as part of the construction of meaning. With this approach we want to contribute to the understanding of the multiple presentations of the work of Graciela Sacco in different public and private scenarios, its contents and strategies of materialization and circulation as a whole diverse and integrated at the same time.
