Feminist commotions in the Colectivo Feminista de Filósofes

The article addresses the ‘feminist commotions’ from the experience of the Colectivo Feminista de Filósofes, formed in 2019 in the Department of Philosophy of the UNC and formed by students, teachers, graduates and researchers of the career. Starting from a reflection on the commotion produced by feminisms in political and subjective terms, the creation of the collective and its actions are recalled from three points: its memory and narration; the weaving of the construction of a collective and the gestures and affections involved; and the current commotions and the validity of the commotions. The importance of gestures and affections in the formation of a space of trust and dialogue is highlighted, as well as the power of federal scope that actions such as the creation of the Red Argentina de Colectivas Feministas de Filosofía can have. It concludes by highlighting that feminist upheavals are still valid and are essential for philosophical practice and the defense of rights in a context of profound precariousness of life.
