Young women: feminist epistemology and youth studies
Keywords:
Young women, Feminist epistemology, Youth studies, GenderAbstract
In this article I practice a look that problematizes the representation of women as political subjects and their place in youth studies, but without pretending to delve into a genealogical and historical perspective on these studies. To do so, I start from a bibliographic review with a systematic search in databases, as well as the analysis of academic texts and qualitative research conducted mainly in Latin America, which account for youth cultures, as well as the aesthetic and political work of youth. I emphasize the importance of incorporating feminist epistemology in these studies in order to recognize young women from their transformative action of contexts, relationships and power systems immersed in gender.
