Abstract

Ossuary of violence in México project consists of a series of images of violence buried in georeferenced locations in some parts of the Mexican Republic. The photographs presented here are the result of the documentation of the act of burying in a desolate landscape.

  • Alejandro Dayan Saldívar Chávez, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México

    Alejandro Saldívar (CDMX, 1987) es candidato a doctor en Historia del Arte por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Estudió la maestría en Estudios Latinoamericanos y la licenciatura en Ciencias de la Comunicación en la UNAM.  Fotógrafo y narrador audiovisual. Su trabajo periodístico ha sido publicado Al Jazeera, Proceso, Vice, El Universal, OnCuba y Juxtapoz. Es fundador de la revista de periodismo narrativo Late.
