Abstract

School as a socio-educational institution is not oblivious to the current social change: the transition from a printed-matter culture to a multimedia, digital culture. Health education uses different communication channels for its mass campaigns, such as Internet, television and radio, inter alia. Health promotion intends to adopt a holistic view of problems such as dengue considering its overall complexity and multicausality. In this paper, the possibilities of educational integration that can be offered by Websites in order to deal with the problem of Dengue in the teaching and learning processes at schools from different levels in the educational system of Córdoba province are analyzed. This analysis also aims at guiding new processes and increasing the participation of the community in the integrated control of this problem.
