Individuals with this injury are usuallv prcdisposecl by chronic renal diseasc with secondary hyperparathyroidism, gout, diabetes, ancl lupus erythematosus. Often, primary diagnostie confusion can lead lo a clelay in trcatment. Two cases ofa bilateral lesion of the divadlriceps tenclon, lhat were treatecl surgicallv using the techniciue of Scuderi, followecl by art in tense rehabilitation programine , are i resenteci . Surgical treatnient yields salisfactory results.
