Abstract

This book, the result of María Aimaretti's postdoctoral research, addresses the development of the audiovisual scene, in particular the production of video productions, during the 1980s in the city of La Paz, Bolivia. The author allows herself to be questioned by the images and sounds of that scene, approaches the memories of the social processes from which they emerged and their makers, and invites us to sharpen our senses to resonate with their effects.
