Abstract

The goal of this work is to rescue the popular knowledge, the vision of the local settlers, and the ordinary   denomination of the representative fauna, including the different types of uses that they made and make   of the native fauna, and the identification of their conditions of conservation. The data was obtained from   workshops carried out at each educational establishment of the area of study, and through the implementation of notebooks, with which the students worked in the classroom and took to their homes to be completed with their family. This information, together with the specific compilation, contributed to the   analysis of the present state of the native fauna in the area of influence of the National Park and the San   Guillermo Biosphere Reserve.
