Using bases for orientation in the construction of the concept of species

Abstract

This paper reports on the development of activities which were designed to facilitate the construction of  the biology concept of species, using instruments called “orientation bases”. The strategy is based on Activity Theory, and allows students to design, control, and adjust their own learning process
