Analysis of the academic performance achieved by students participating in the Argentine Biology Olympiad

Abstract

Indas descriptive work, it has been analyzed the efficiency obtained by the students from different schools in
the competence of the IV, V asid VI Olimpíada Argentina Biología (OAB). For this cuantitative analysis, the
authors considered the foliowing parameters: public or private school, province where the school belongs,
subject evaluated. Results showed that there were no differences between the efficiency obtained by students
from public or private schools, the subjeci that showed the highest difficuhy was "Ceil Biology", whilc the
best results were obtained in "Ecology aoci Evolution".
