The "Educational Project" is an innovative curricular space in the training of the future Biology professors of Universidad Nacional de Misiones (National University of Misiones), Argentina. This project has the characteristics of a degree thesis. The methodological approach and development are categorized in the investigation-action that facilitates the formulation, execution and evaluation of the educative projects in socio-communal environments, thus responding to the demand of the institutions for the curricular development of the transversal topics. The students, either individually or in groups, propose projects that are first discussed with a team of professors, and the defended in a public colloquium. Projects in several communal organizations have been materialised. Among the demanded themes, we highlight: nutrition, sexuality, mental health, hygiene, environmental education, orchard and oral health.
