Abstract

This work aims to reflect on academic literacy in the Anthropology Introductory Course during the year 2023 edition. We will present some writing, reading and speaking exercises proposed for newcomers and the pedagogical strategies chosen will be analyzed from a collaborative teaching perspective. Within this framework, we also propose two stages: the first refers to the development of the contents until their evaluation in the first partial (stage A) and the second included between the first partial and the closing of the minutes (stage B). At the same time, we try to address some tools aimed at  valorate pedagogically who our students are, what life trajectories they bring with them and what practices (study, socialization) they enact in university spaces. The inquest carried out by the Academic Secretariat of the Faculty are used to approximate some results. These focus on “satisfactory” and “very good” responses (70 to 90%). Finally, these percentages lead us to reflect on the ways of approaching disciplinary content and academic literacy practices.
