Abstract

This work focuses on the Leveling Course for the Bachelor and Professor of Geography at the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences of the National University of Córdoba The purpose is to examine a set of productions by new students belonging to the 2020, 2021 and 2022 cohorts with the aim of reflecting on the possibilities that arise from the collaboration between content linked to university citizenship and critical traditions in Geography By analyzing the students' productions, we intend to identify trends in relation to the students' perception of what Geography is and what it deals with, as well as how this conception is questioned throughout the thematic approach Subsequently, we will show how certain perspectives on Geography, in conjunction with the contents of the “University Life” module, allow students to develop a specific notion of the professional and intellectual profile that a geographer can adopt in their relationship with society Finally, we will explore the relevance of this type of approach in the Nivelación courses at public universities
