The convergence of a political, economical and social moment –the big Argentinian crisis of 2001, and the resistance experiences – together with the technological availability of digital photo and video, allowed the appearance of discursive practices of common characteristics that can be recognized as a group.
This work analyzes a series of social intervention practices with photography and audiovisual media that took place in Córdoba's territory during that period. Although they were very different, they were all framed within the educational, aesthetics and communication fields. Exploring different ways of self reference, the goal in terms of production of meaning was mainly to give visibility to certain social problems, disputing the popular sector’s representation, and to strengthen communities organization instances.
This article will try to approach the political dimension of these practices, questioning in what aspects or dimensions these experiences transform the dispute or resistance of the community. In order to do this, there are four aspects where political issues are made manifest as a potential transforming force of reality.
