Abstract

On Monday, November 26, 2018, the documentary film Mothers, by the young director Josefina Cordera of the Center for Visual Anthropology of Córdoba, was released. The film, which was presented at the Cordoba Cultural Center with a large audience, is the product of research led by Natalia Bermudez of the Nucleus of Anthropology, violence, death and politics of the Museum of Anthropology of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities of the UNC and tells the story of several mothers who lost their children in situations of institutional violence at the hands of security forces.
