Developing fictional series in Córdoba. Interview with director Lucas Combina

This article is an interview with Lucas Combina, a filmmaker from Córdoba who has worked as a cameraman, scriptwriter and director of audiovisual fictions and documentaries.
The interview took place at the meeting La imagen imaginada 2: diálogos con directores y guionistas ganadores de fomento INCAA TDA. Conference held at the National University of Villa María, 2016.
On this occasion, we talked about the award-winning series La chica que limpia, directed by Combina in 2015. Fiction made with the support of the Plan Fomento carried out by the Cordoba Audiovisual Pole. She was one of the winners of the Contest of Series of Fiction for Producers with antecedents for Digital Television of the INCAA (2014-2015).
This series has been scripted by Irene Gissara, Greta Molas and Lucas Combina and produced by Germina Films (Jaque Productora S.A.). It consists of 13 chapters of 27 minutes each.
Before having a space on the national screen, it was premiered with great success on Channel 4's GSN platform in the United States and England.
In November 2017, it was premiered on Channel 10, the air television channel of the Multimedio SRT of the National University of Cordoba. It was also seen on the Netflix platform and on the open television signal of Canal 7 in Buenos Aires. It is currently available in Cont.ar and Cine.ar where it reached the record of spectators.
La chica que limpia (Combina, 2015) became the first Cordovan series to win the Martín Fierro Federal de Oro Award and the Martín Fierro Federal Award for the best Federal Fiction series. It received the award for Best Direction for Cine.Ar and a special mention for Directors of Audiovisual Works for Television (DOAT) to the Direction.
