Abstract

Since 1999, the Archivo de la Memoria has been operating at the Universidad Nacional del Sur. Its purpose is to record and preserve oral testimonies of residents of Bahía Blanca. These records are for public use and are available to those interested in learning about or investigating the history of the city. Likewise, the dependency fulfills the function of being the historical archive of the Casa de Altos Estudios, by preserving its institutional documentation.
