Abstract

The comment points out the main contributions of Salvatore’s book on the social and political experience of the popular sectors in the province of Buenos Aires under the hegemony of Juan Manuel de Rosas. In particular, it recovers the arsenal of concepts and methodologies put into play to restore, test and argue social practices and representations that gravitated in the formation of the social and political order in Buenos Aires.
