A female virtual transit. Young women and the production of a new cyberfeminist moment
Keywords:
Cyberfeminism, Youth, TwitterAbstract
The article reflects on a virtual/personal journey that will be in turn a cyberfeminist (other) journey. This path seeks to account for the transformations in the use of technologies and the ways of inhabiting them under the condition of a young woman. On the other hand, it focuses on the importance of various manifestations of women, especially young women, in social networks (mainly on Twitter), which make visible how different forms of contact, accompaniment and production of meanings strongly linked to and constructed by the feminist discourse are being gestated. This marks a new moment in contemporary cyberfeminist studies.
