The excess and the repetition: coordinates of the public intimacy
Main Article Content
Abstract
About Sarlo, B. (2018). Public privacy Buenos Aires: Seix Barral.
Public intimacy brings together a series of essays by Beatriz Sarlo in which she covers, from cultural criticism, two phenomena that mark the rhythm of current culture, scandalous society and the motherhood of celebrities. The lens of Sarlo stops to analyze in detail these two phenomena in which he notices a new state of hybridity, a new area of culture where the intimate and the public are no longer distinguishable.
