Abstract

For some time now, the Argentine national university has not been able to solve either 1) the high dropout rates in the first years of university, or 2) the adaptation of the entering students to the dynamics and demands of a university career. The political objective of a quality, secular, free and popular education cannot neglect these problems. In this paper we will try to delimit a set of problematic spaces in university admissions, many of them referred to the contemporary dynamics of construction of subjectivities aligned to the digital world; in the same way, we will try to define the objectives, the scope and the limits of short-term policies that allow to solve pressing problems in the educational field.
