Abstract

Among human rights, the right to food is one of the basic rights, which in turn includes the rights to freedom from hunger, to adequate food and to food security. This right is included in article 75, paragraph 22, of the Argentine National Constitution, which was incorporated into the 1994 constitutional reform and set out in article 25 of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
