This Journal arises from the need to disseminate the productions and discussions that have been taking place in the Human Rights Panels held for almost twenty years at the entrance to the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities. Many of the topics that have been worked on in these panels have been changing according to the demand of the students that come to our Faculty. Although the publication of these debates was initially intended for incoming students, their boundaries have been extended and we are now also seeking to place the reflections presented today on Human Rights at the centre.
From there and forward, we want these debates, these demands and these issues that arise from society itself and from our university community, to be expressed in reading spaces that are freely accessible to all. We hope that this proposal will be a contribution to the way of thinking about Human Rights.
