Abstract

In recent years, non-binary language has gained increasing relevance in various contexts, including educational institutions, government settings, and colloquial usage. This popularization has led to the introduction of several bills in Argentina aimed at addressing and supporting its use. In this study, we will examine one of these projects presented in 2021 from a glotopolitical perspective. Through this analysis, we will gain a better understanding of the discourses circulating in the field of contemporary linguistics and how they are applied in cases of linguistic change.
