Abstract

The current essay analyzes a group of documentary films produced by Argentine directors during the eighties and nineties that includes in some kind of modulation, the use of first-person narratives. These manifestations of authorial subjectivity within nonfiction films are examined as a precedent of first-person documentaries that persistently mark audiovisual discourses of the XXI century.
