View to project. Notes for the use of film at school

Abstract

This paper is the result of several teachers-training meetings in which we have discussed the uses of cinema in classrooms and in education. It aims to share some questions as well as possible answers built together during these meetings. In particular we focus on how to determine what could be considered a good movie, how can we pedagogically intervene a movie, what can be considered, from a philosophic point of view,  to be specifically cinematographic and, finally, what contributions can films make to education.
