Abstract

This article analyzes some patterns of student interpretations concerning different situations of movement in physics. Ideas and opinions of more than a thousand students of different educational levels were collected, tryng to elaborate a model of the student's reasoning confronted with these phenomena. Some reflexions concerning these interpretative patterns and their relations with conceptual change, as well as other suggestions related to the teaching of physics are developed at the end of  this article.
