The aim of this study was to translate and study the psychometric properties of the Child and Adolescent Mindfulness Measure - CAMM (Greco, Baer, & Smith, 2011). The CAMM was administered to a sample of 2120 students in Lima Metropolitana, boys and girls aged between 10 and 17 years old. After an exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis a single component structure showed good fit with an explained variance of 74%. The CAMM showed an adequate internal consistency (αord = .78). Moreover, differences between the scores obtained by gender and age were analyzed. The new Spanish version of the CAMM with 8 items showed adequate psychometric properties, so it can be used with children and teenagers from Lima Metropolitana.
