Based on a trigger text offered by the Polémicas Feministas Editorial Team, three social and political figures from Córdoba, Argentina, discuss the phenomenon of the increase in the number of complaints of gender violence.

Claudia Huergo, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba

Writer, psychoanalyst, poet. Professor of Psychoanalysis, Faculty of Psychology, UNC. Member of the study group Emosido Engañado. Programmer in the film series: Raros somos todos, lo humano es raro. Member of the radio programme Paradigma en Eterogenia, CCEC. Published poetry titles: Sostener la piel, 2015, Borde Perdido Ed. Lobo alucina, 2018, Borde Perdido Ed. Denise Paz Ruiz, Consejo Nacional de investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET)

Conicet doctoral fellow. PhD student in Social Sciences at the UNVM. Degree in Social Work Social Work from the Faculty of Social Sciences (FCS)-National University of Cordoba. Currently, I am currently researching the experiences of two protection measures in gender violence (panic button and dual device) and I teach at the FCS. Previously, I worked in institutions dedicated to addressing gender-based violence.

Natalia Di Marco, Escuela Superior de Comercio Manuel Belgrano. Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC)

Teacher, anti-capitalist feminist activist. Prof. in Philosophy. Diploma in CSE (FLACSO). She is part of the research project "CSE in the institutional and political fabric of Cordoba". She is Coordinator of the Department of ESI of the ESCMB and of the Diploma in ESI, Genders and Sexualities of the FFyH. She is a member of Feministas del Abya Yala, the Red de Docentes por el Derecho al Aborto (Network of Teachers for the Right to Abortion) and the Team of Workshops of the Ley Micaela of the UNICEPG (UNC).
