Abstract

The article explores, as an essay, some debates on figurations of eroticism in the context of current cyberculture, taking up contributions and polemics of feminist theory. The aim of the paper is to explore the notions of eroticism in contemporary mediatizations from a viewpoint nourished by the fields of communication and cultural studies on the one hand, and feminism on the other. Firstly, a reconstruction of debates on the mediatization of intimacy (Sibilia, Illouz) and, secondly, of pornography (Marzano, Millett, Butler, Preciado, Prada, Vance, Rubin) is presented in order to approach some randomly chosen examples on the Spanish web and put into use the theoretical tools of the perspectives worked on. To this end, some discursive variations of senses of intimacy, eroticism and pornography published on the web between 2015 and 2016, years of hatching of the feminist struggle, since the first march Ni Una Menos in Argentina, will be presented.
