Abstract

Internal Medicine has always enjoyed a special place within the specialties of the art of healing, the holistic vision that distinguished its actions against medical problem, both in its physiopathogenic as the significance of this impact occurred in the social psychological environment allowed the physician "clinical" or "internal" placed in a special way to someone who is suffering from multisystem disease did not find a clear horizon. So colleagues or patients themselves, went to his clinical history, observation, routine complete examination, time of reflection, study and a methodology based on the logic of syndromic grouping, organizing or ordering what seemed chaotic, encouraging through this arrangement, sometimes finding a diagnosis or other lead the way for it. This doctor also was able to drive or accompany diseases prevalent in the growth of a person listening to the anguish that went beyond the patient, the family contained a checkered band at the pain of a loved one, was an expert in communicating with the person and Therein lay his empathy and was honored as the "doctor" and even garnered honors in this sense the most varied, was never protected by the system (read: government, institutions or social work) and often the patients themselves in pay. So that the idea of a studious man, delivered with unwavering dedication, he could always be available to any avatar even at the expense of their primary emotions, accepting that this was the right thing from the perspective of serving as a primary mandate of our profession .. .
