The journal promotes and supports the movement of open access to knowledge as a common good, so it provides free and immediate access to its content and its editions are free of charge neither for the author nor for the reader, under the principle of offering scientific and academic production to society in general, without restrictions, contributing to a greater exchange of global knowledge with the participation of researchers, academics and students. We think of intellectual property as freedom of expression and the right to access to shared culture through the communication of content on the network. This allows us to join the advances and challenges in the movement of open access to scientific knowledge, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean.
