Abstract

This brief article investigates the dialectical relationship between the production of urban form and the approach that determines it generated from the curricular subject “Urban morphology”. The aim is to propose a critical renewal of this approach through the enunciation of poetic principles for the design and analysis of urban form.

Author Biography

Jorge Pokropek, Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires

D. in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires. Magister and Senior Specialist in Logic and Technique of Form from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires. Professor at FADU_UBA, UNM and Universidad de Palermo.

He studied the Specialization / Master in Architectural and Urban Design at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires. He completed a postgraduate course in Urban and Territorial Planning and Research in Developing Towns. He is the author of numerous publications.
