Abstract

Poems that talk about marihuana and, then, start to be spoken by it. How is this possible? In witch moment the poem started to talk about cannabis so then cannabis could talk in the poem? This paper purpose a critic itinerary across that possibility in order to read contemporary Argentinean poetry in the dialogues between writing and cannabis as pausing substances.

Author Biography

Matías Moscardi

MatíasMoscardi was born in Mar del Plata, in 1983. He is a researcher at CONICET and a doctor of letters from the UNMdP, where he works as a teacher. His thesis projectLa máquina de hacer libritos. Argentine Poetry and interdependent editorials in the ninetieswas awarded in 2015 by the FNA. He published the following books of poetry, short stories and essays. The most recent areStrobel Street (Club Hem, 2016), Salmónrosado (CuentosMaría Susana, 2020) and La roscaprofunda y otros ensayos (Prebanda, 2018), which brings together the interventions in the blog of Eterna Cadencia. He translated the booksNarración, by George Oppen (LM, 2013; prologue by Martín Gambarotta), Kora en el infierno, also by William Carlos Williams (Barba de abejas, 2014) and El libro de las pesadillas, by Galway Kinnell (BdA, 2016). He was part of the organization of the Independent Poetry Festivalde Acá (2006-2017), which takes place every year in the city of Mar del Plata. He is one of the editors of the American Bazaar.
