Author Biography

Emilia Zlauvinen, Secyt-Facultad de Artes-Universidad Nacional de Córdoba

Holds a bachelor's degree in Theatre (2012) and a postgraduate degree in Performance Studies (2017) from the Faculty of Arts at the National University of Córdoba (UNC). She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Arts at the same institution, supported by a doctoral scholarship from the Secretariat of Science and Technology (SeCyT-UNC). She also holds a tenured position in the Department of Theatre (FA-UNC) and has served as an Associate Professor for the course "Voice and Speech I" since 2013. In the field of research, she has been a member of a team led by Dr. Marcelo Comandú for the past ten years. The current project focuses on the concept of "becoming" as a mode of staging (SeCyT-UNC, 2020–2024). Additionally, she co-leads the research project Geonarraciones: figuraciones con hilos de cobre (Geo-narratives: figurations with copper threads), funded by SeCyT (UNC, 2024–2025) and directed by Dr. Marcela Marín. In her artistic practice, she is an actress and theatre director. Since 2021, she has been a member of the theatre company "Proyecto Equis," which she also co-founded. The company operates in Córdoba and La Pampa (Argentina) as well as in Barcelona (Spain).
