Pottery as use of space indicator . A study on the site "Los Cardones" (Pcia de Tucumán)
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article analyzes the use of space on the "Los Cardones" site. This site is presented as a town with strategic-defensive or pseudo-pukara characteristics, with a unilinear layout and semi-urban complexity. It is located in the Yocavil Valley, in the Province of Tucumán. Temporarily corresponds to the Period of Regional Developments of the Argentine Northwest (S X to XV A.D.). The functional variability of the various enclosures located in the settlement in relation to the ceramic assemblies present in them is considered. The comparison between these allows to establish different contexts and scales of processing, storage and consumption of food.
