Considerations about the geographical and ethnic unity of the Calchaquí Valleys

Abstract
This communication aims to provide some elements that contribute to support our hypothesis, in the sense that at the time of the Hispanic conquest, the current valleys Calchaquí and Yocavil or Santa María constituted a unit both geographically and culturally and by This can be identified together as Calchaquí valleys.
