Digital preservation policies

Materials published in RECIAL are deposited in Portal de Revistas, the institutional repository of the National University of Cordoba. Automatic backups and remote copies, format adjustments, integrity checks and other activities required to ensure digital preservation are carried out through this repository.

All the material published in RECIAL is protected and stored in duplicate on the servers of Pro IT Secretariat (Argentina Pavilion) of the National University of Cordoba, as well as all the journals of the portal and all the Open Access material deposited in the University Digital Repository. These servers have strict access and are protected with facilities adapted for their safekeeping and durability.

Interoperability protocol

All the publications of the Journal Portal of the National University of Cordoba incorporate interoperability protocols that allow their contents to be harvested by other distribution systems, such as digital repositories and harvesters. Journals published through OJS (Open Journals System 3.1.2.4) incorporate the interoperability protocol OAI-PMH (Open Archive Initiative-Protocol for Metadata Harvesting), with the possibility of obtaining different formats for metadata.
