Dossier
Dossier
The Dossier section gathers a minimum of 4 (four) and a maximum of 8 (eight) articles with a common theme related to the objectives and interests of the journal. This Section arises from the proposal of one or more academics or researchers who function as the dossier coordinators, who are in charge of organizing the material presented in the section and presenting it in the publication instance.
The coordinator(s) or those in charge of the dossier open the section with an introductory text that summarizes the state of the question and specifies the contributions of the articles gathered.
Presentation of dossiers
Proposals must be submitted between 6 (six) and 12 (twelve) months in advance, with a descriptive title in general lines of the problem to be addressed and a brief descriptive text of the scope foreseen for the weighting of the journal's Editorial Committee.
The proposal must be accompanied by a brief curriculum vitae of the coordinator(s) (up to 3 (three) pages with the academic activities and scientific production of the last few years); and the list of possible participants and their institutional affiliation.
Proposals should be sent to: revistarecial@gmail.com
Dossier evaluation
The review and acceptance of proposals for dossiers will be the responsibility of the Editorial Board, after consultation with the Advisory Board.
Once the acceptance of the dossier has been decided, in accordance with the objectives of the journal, Recial also opens the call for participation in the dossier to members of the national/international academic community who study the specific topic. In this case, the papers received are sent to the coordinators or those in charge of the dossier for their weighting of relevance and acceptance in the whole discursive section.
Edition and publication of the dossier
The coordinator(s) will be the exclusive link between the journal and the authors at the different stages of the evaluation, editing and publication process. All articles accepted by the coordinators are then submitted to the editorial policy of Recial. That is, they are peer-reviewed in the double-blind system and are required to comply with the style and length standards set by the journal; in addition, they must have: Abstract and up to five key words, in Spanish and English, of the content of each article.
All papers presented in the dossier, as in the rest of the journal, must be unpublished and original and not be put into consideration in other publications during the process of editing and publication in Recial.
Authors will be notified of the acceptance or rejection or request for modifications to the manuscript through the coordinator/s of the dossier who will be responsible for meeting the deadlines agreed at each stage. The decisions of the Editorial Board and the results of the arbitration process are unappealable.
Sección Temática Libre
The articles that make up this section of the journal have a theme that is independent of the specific dossier of the edition.
All manuscripts sent for inclusion in this section must respect Recial's editorial policy. They must be original and unpublished works, respect the formal and extension slogans and have an abstract and 5 key words in Spanish and English. In all cases, manuscripts are submitted to a double blind referee by peers specialized in the subject in question.
