Abstract

Traditionally practical activities in chemistry lessons were designed as lab work; today ICTs give us the possibility of such procedural activities using a computer and the Internet; thereby extending and strengthening the promotion of other procedures. In this article we will describe a strategy, the WebQuest (WQ), which offers much potential to be used not only in chemistry classes but also in science s. We will explain the explicit epistemological and psychological support on which the WQ and the results of its implementation are based in a group of teachers in training.
