Abstract

This paper summarizes the research process carried out under the project “Teaching Materials. A methodology for production in the era of ICT”. The objective is the development of a protocol that allows the strategic planning of the production of teaching materials for ICT mediated education. To achieve this objective it was necessary to revise some models proposed since the advent of ICT in the educational scene. The intention of this analysis was to determine the characteristics of the production process of teaching materials and to identify strengths and weaknesses in each of these models, whose selection was made considering their belonging to the national or international university environment and / or the expertise the authors have. The results of the review constitute the basis on which a detailed production process is proposed. Such process considers the various intervening variables organized into conceptual groups.
