Abstract

Due to the global emergency caused by COVID-19, it became necessary for the professors of the State Distance University (UNED) of Costa Rica to incorporate in the teaching process, that student may learn through more virtual work that allows the educational process to be efficient and responds to the proposed objectives and goals, in times of social isolation. Therefore, the present research responds to the perception of the study carried out in the first quarter of 2020, to the students of the UNED, of the careers: Teaching of Natural Sciences, Management of Natural Resources and Industrial Engineering, and the use by the students of the Moodle platform, for the use of the Remote Laboratory, and with it to carry out its educational practices, as an educational complement in the enrolled courses. In the teaching-learning process in this “new normal way of living”, it requires substantive contributions so that educational development adjusts to new changes, safeguarding standards of quality, relevance and inclusiveness. Therefore, this study allows us to know the degree of utility that Remote Laboratories currently represent for students.
