Instructions to authors

I. General Norms 

The Revista de Economía y Estadística accepts papers in Spanish or English that have not already been published or are not being simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere. All submitted material will be subject to peers' evaluations. The procedure used is double-blind (authors and anonymous referees). Manuscripts should be submitted in electronic version (Word and Excel).  Manuscripts should be sent to the editors of the journal through the journal's website: https://revistas.unc.edu.ar/index.php/REyE/about/submissions.

Submissions to the journal's e-mail address will not be considered. It is the author's responsibility to ensure that the files are fully legible on any personal computer (not just the one on which the article was composed). The Editors do not accept responsibility for damage or loss of submitted articles. Upon acceptance of an article, the author(s) will be asked to transfer the copyright of the article to the journal. This transfer will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information.

III. Editorial Guidelines

The author will send the documents according to the following editorial guidelines: Extension: the articles should be written in double space, with margins of 2.5 cm; the average extension will be twenty-five (25) pages, numbered consecutively (the title page is page 1) and in no case should it exceed forty (40) pages. The first page of the article should contain the following information: - Title: it should be short, explanatory, and contain the essence of the work. - Author(s): indicate the full name(s) without professional titles, followed by the postal address (institutional or private as appropriate) and e-mail address. The abstract should be written in a single paragraph of no more than 200 words. It will contain a description of the problem, the objectives, the methodology, and the main observations and conclusions.

IV. Copyright Notice

Authors who have published with this journal, accept the following terms:

Authors will retain their copyright and guarantee the journal the right to the first publication of their work, which will be simultaneously subject to the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivative 4.0 International License that allows third parties to share the work as long as the author and first publication of this journal are indicated.
Authors may adopt other non-exclusive license agreements to distribute the published version of the work (e.g., deposit it in an institutional telematic archive or publish it in a monographic volume) provided that the initial publication in this journal is indicated.
Authors are allowed and encouraged to disseminate their work through the Internet (e.g., in institutional telematic archives or on their website) before and during the submission process, which may lead to interesting exchanges and increase citations of the published work.

V. Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The file submitted should preferably be in Microsoft Word or a similar format.
  • The submission has not been previously published and is not currently under review by another journal.
  • Web addresses have been added for references where possible.
  • Submitted articles should typically be less than 25 single spaced pages, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides, and should in no event exceed 40 pages. Pages should be consecutively numbered (the title page being number 1). Italics are used instead of underlining (except for URLs); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are inside the text in their proper place and not at the end.
  • The text complies with the bibliographic and style requirements indicated in the Guidelines for Authors, which can be found in About the Journal.
  • If you are submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, you must ensure that the instructions in "Ensuring a blind review" have been followed.
  • Submissions should be made through the journal's website: https://revistas.unc.edu.ar/index.php/REyE. Submissions to the journal's e-mail address will not be considered.
