Abstract

In this article we are interested in sharing some reflections that emerge from a university extension experience based on the development of workshops with inclusion support teachers and classroom teachers around teaching work with students with disabilities in primary schools – urban and rural – located in the north-west of the province of Chubut. The extension project is called “Practices, teaching knowledge and educational inclusion” and is in charge of a group of professors and researchers who belong to the chairs of Special Education, Research, Pedagogy and Psychopedagogy of the Prof. and Bachelor of Education Sciences and the Chair of Evolutionary Psychology of Social Work (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco). It is also articulated with research tasks in relation to the study of the so-called processes of educational inclusion at the intersections between primary education, special education and rurality.
From this extension project and through the modality of workshops with teachers, we set out to enable spaces for meeting and exchange between classroom teachers and support teachers, seeking to encourage everyone to be able to enunciate, listen to each other, share and reflect on the daily practices and feelings that are built around the work of teachers with children with disabilities who go through the so-called processes of educational inclusion.
