ANNOUNCEMENT FOLLOWING ALLEGATIONS OF SEXUAL ABUSE AND HARASSMENT AGAINST BOAVENTURA DE SUSA SANTOS

In view of the facts of public knowledge about the denunciations in relation to Professor Boaventura de Sousa Santos, the Editorial Committee of the ConCiencia Social Journal wants to express its solidarity with the women who were able to express with their voices the violence suffered. Given this, we have taken the decision to remove the professor from the Academic Council of the Journal, of which he was part since 2017, and to reinforce our commitment to the construction of just societies free of violence.
