Technologising technologies. The models of the Computadora Industrial Abierta Argentina, from experimental development to production (2013-2023)

This article presents the experience of production of industrial computers of national and open design, promoted in the last decade by the CIAA project. This process encompasses a set of initiatives that share a common feature: the convergence of efforts of actors from different sectors (state public, non-state public and private). The objective of this work is to document the productive processes, recover the principles of linkage and cooperation that sustain them, and extract lessons learned from the perspective of the participants so that this experience can illuminate future technological development projects oriented to the common good.
