Abstract

"Ink in Series" is the name given to the collection of plays that arise by motion of the Producers SI project to disseminate the work of different and contemporary Costa Rican authors.  The collection contains works very different from each other, which deeply address a number of problems typical of modern Western societies, calling for the construction of collective memory, which is understood as an instance enabler of change.

Through the art of storytelling, these plays establish a very interesting paragon among the personal stories of their characters and the proper of Latin America, from a fearless viewpoint that appeals to the questioning and to the political, historical and social critique.

This collection brings together the work of authors like María Bonilla, Rodrigo Soto, Fernando Gómez, Rolando Quesada Gómez, Irene Solera, Dorelia Barahona Riera, María Silva, Ailyn Morera, Fernando Rodríguez, Ana Istarú, Armando Campos Santelices, Melvin Méndez, Arnoldo Ramos, Daniel Gallegos Troyo, Claudia Barrionuevo, Víctor Valdeomar and the popular writer Carmen Lyra.
