Abstract

The definition of a program of history of ideas in the work of Oscar Terán recognizes three sources: a generational self-criticism by the leftist intelligentsia in Argentina, a postmarxism by pluralization and a historiographical pluralism. This article argues that the history of ideas in Terá had a philosophical argument. In contrast to the originalist temptations detected by Teran in the aspiration to find a "Latin American philosophy", the historical approach stresses the hybridity and transformation in a cultural reality always opaque.
