Fanon, postcolonial criticism and theory Notes in Latin American contexts
Keywords:
Fanon, postcolonial, Latin America, archivesAbstract
This article is a proposal for organizing the itineraries that Fanon´s writing described in Latin American contexts during the last fifty years. It is a possible way of setting up the discussion about the Fanonian legacy and the different approachings it offers. At the same time this text tries to link main concerns of each epoch to the ways in which Fanon was read and to think contextually apout the emerging archives. Thus, this is a commitment for his writing so that it becomes an active part of the current records of social theory, of philosophy and of the general field of social sciences and the humanities.Downloads
